Specialists in medium and high voltage
We install, test and commission medium and high voltage electrical equipment. Transformers, cables, switchgear and protection systems at 11kV and above. Our Power Technicians use specialist test gear to prove condition, compliance and performance, then back it up with clear documentation.
We also run the work. Programme, site coordination, safety documentation and client reporting, from award through to handover, so you deal with one team rather than three.
We work across New Zealand, directly with asset owners and alongside contractors. Small team, deep expertise, no layers in between.
Services
What we deliver
MV/HV Installation
Installation of MV/HV plant at 11kV and above. Switchgear, ring main units, transformers, protection and control panels, secondary wiring and substation fit-out, installed and connected ready for energisation.
Project Management
We run the job end to end. Scope, programme, subcontractors, outage planning, safety documentation, quality records and client reporting through to handover.
MV/HV Equipment Testing
On-site testing of transformers, cables, switchgear, CTs, VTs and protection relays. Condition, compliance and performance, assessed with specialist equipment.
Commissioning & Switching
Pre-energisation checks, functional testing, livening support and qualified HV switching. Switching schedules, permits, isolation and earthing handled properly.
Engineering Services
Technical support for MV/HV systems. Design input, fault investigation, protection settings review, test plans and straight technical advice.
Reports & Compliance Records
Formal test reports, ITPs and handover packs covering results, findings and recommendations. The compliance record you need once the work is done.

Infrastructure
Auckland City Hospital, Central Plant and Tunnel
Commissioned the protection, SCADA and PCMS control for a new substation and generation centre, on a live hospital campus in full clinical operation.
Renewables
Huntly BESS
Tested and commissioned the 33kV network, from the inverter skids through to the 240MVA export transformer.
Distribution
Turitea Substation
Commissioned a new 33kV board on a brownfield distribution site for Powerco, while keeping supply on to customers throughout.
Edgecumbe Zone Substation
Primary, secondary and protection commissioning on a new zone substation for Horizon Networks.
Transmission
Transpower Waiotahe
Primary testing works on the Waiotahe transmission substation to enable a new supply for a large solar farm.
Huntly 220kV
Expansion of the Huntly 220kV outdoor transmission substation, including testing of CVTs, circuit breakers and disconnectors.
